im really not joking, cus everytime i try making lemonade it comes out nasty, either too sour or too sugary tasting…so i wantz to know how to makez it.

cook down a cup of sugar and a cup of h2o into a syrup. Mix the cool syrup with lemon juice and add water until its to your liking.

Sorting through my stack of old Moleskine journals, I came across this page. I love this page. It makes me happy because it marks the time I discovered the poem, "How to Stuff a Pepper", by Nancy Willard. I fell in love with this poem the first time I read it so I transcribed it into my journal. It is still high on my list of favourite poems.

How to Stuff a Pepper

Now, said the cook, I will teach you
how to stuff a pepper with rice.

Take your pepper green, and gently,
for peppers are shy. No matter which side
you approach, it’s always the backside.
Perched on green buttocks, the pepper sleeps.
In its silk tights, it dreams
of somersaults and parsley,
of the days when the sexes were one.

Slash open the sleeve
as if you were cutting into a paper lantern,
and enter a moon, spilled like a melon,
a fever of pearls,
a conversation of glaciers.
It is a temple built to the worship
of morning light.

I have sat under the great globe
of seeds on the roof of that chamber,
too dazzled to gather the taste I came for.
I have taken the pepper in hand,
smooth and blind, a runt in the rich
evolution of roses and ferns.
You say I have not yet taught you

to stuff a pepper?
Cooking takes time.

Next time we’ll consider the rice.

Open up the ps3 browser (obviously) and press triangle on your controller. There should something that says “home” or “home page” go on there and you can make google your home page. I can’t tell you step by step. But it should be pretty simple to do!

I really don’t want to sound like I can’t take a joke, or whatever, but it’s getting really annoying, and sometimes it goes over the line. Our parents died, so I took them in. They’re 11 and 15. I know that they’re young, and that lesbianism may seem..I don’t know weird to them, or whatever. When my girlfriend comes over, now they actually like her, they have said she’s like a 2nd sister to them, but “Are you two going to make out? You should…” Yeah, I’ve kissed her in front of them, but never made out in front of them “Ooo Alison you and Stephanie hardly ever get time alone ever since we’ve moved in…you could spend the night..we don’t mind” then they just wink. I’ve apologized to her about this, and she says it’s fine, and that it doesn’t bother her, but it still embarrasses me. Then there is the ridiculous crap. They’ve always wanted a dog..mom and dad never let them have a dog. They wanted a dog, I like dogs, and have thought about getting one. So, our cousins dog, a dog that we all love is a bearded collie, and that’s the only type of dog we’ve ever truly been around. When we’re looking “Stephanie only buys girl dogs I bet…” Now here’s where the hairy dog think comes in, the dog we got turned out to be male “The reason she wanted a hairy dog is so that she didn’t have to see it’s penis.” When they introduce me to friends “This is my sister, she’s a lesbian” and I know “that’s what siblings do” but I’m sick of it. I’ve tried asking them to stop, and like I said, I don’t want to seem like I can’t take a “joke” but how do I get them to shut up?

If you want them to stop you have to totally ignore it and act like it doesn’t bother you in the least. The more reaction they get and the more they see it getting to you, the more it will happen
